देशभर में होली उल्लास के साथ मनाए जाने का समाचार सभी समाचार पत्रों में हैं। हिंदुस्तान ने इसे सचित्र प्रकाशित करते हुए लिखा है- देश के अलग-अलग हिस्सों में खूब उड़ा गुलाल, लोगों ने एक दूसरे को रंग-गुलाल लगाकर दी बधाई। दैनिक भास्कर ने लिखा- कोरोना के बीच देश ने मनाई होली। उज्जैन में महाकाल से लेकर मथुरा-वृंदावन में बांके बिहारी लाल तक भक्तों ने भगवान के साथ खेली होली।
महाराष्ट्र में कोरोना संक्रमण की स्थिति गंभीर को देते हुए अमर उजाला लिखता है कि लगातार बढ़ते मामलों के बीच राज्य में लॉकडाउन लगाने को लेकर सरकार में मतभेद, सहयोगी दल एनसीपी लॉकडाउन पर सहमत नहीं।
76 वर्ष बाद मार्च में सबसे अधिक गर्म रही दिल्ली। दैनिक जागरण ने इसे प्रमुखता देते हुए लिखा है- कल होली के दिन दिल्ली में पारा पहुंचा 40.1 डिग्री सेल्सियस। इससे पहले मार्च 1945 में 40.5 डिग्री दर्ज हुआ था तापमान।

171 candidates are in the fray for 30 constituencies in the second phase of assembly polls in West Bengal to be held on 1st of April. Apart From Nandigram, Kharagpur Sadar and Moyna constituencies are also considered as crucial as new entrants from different fields will be trying their charisma in the field of elections.
"Kharagpur Sadar of West Medinipur is one of the key constituencies where Star campaigners of the BJP, PM Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah campaigned for their candidate, actor turned politician Hironmoy Chatterjee, popularly known as Hiron. In 2016 assembly polls, Dilip Ghosh of the BJP had defeated Congress MLA GyanSingh Sohanpal in this seat. After he became MP, Pradip Sarkar of the Trinamool Congress won the seat in the 2019 bypoll.
In Assam, tomorrow is the last day of campaigning for the IInd phase of polls. 345 candidates are in the fray in this phase covering 39 seats.Polling will be held on 1st of April. Political parties are making all out efforts to woo the women voters. Our Guwahati correspondent reports that there are only 74 women in the fray out of 946 contesting candidates. However, in several seats women voters have outnumbered the male voters in this election.
"Waive off microfinance loans to 50 percent jobs in the public sector , political parties are trying to attract the women voters. After the end of the first phase of polls, all the parties have now intensified their campaigning for the remaining 2 stages.

The BJP has announced to increase the amount of Orunodoi scheme to 3000 rupees per month from 830 rupees. The party also declared to cover 30 lakh families under Orunodoi if voted to power. The Congress has promised to implement the Grihini Samman scheme to counter the Orunodoi. Under it, 2000 rupees would be given to homemakers. BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma in his election rallies also announced to waive off micro finance companies loan to a certain period. Safety and security of women voters and upliftment of their lifestyles are some of the others issues being highlighted by political parties.
