राष्ट्रपति ने बदले 4 राज्यों के राज्यपाल
पंजाब, तमिलनाडु, उत्तराखंड और असम के राज्यपालों को बदला गया है। लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल (रि.) गुरमीत सिंह को उत्तराखंड का नया राज्यपाल बनाया गया है। तमिलनाडु के गवर्नर बनवारी लाल पुरोहित को पंजाब का राज्यपाल बनाया है। एनवी रावी को तमिलनाडु का राज्यपाल बनाया गया। वहीं, जगदीश मुखी को असम का राज्यपाल बनाया है। इसके साथ उन्हें नागालैंड की अतिरिक्त जिम्मेदारी भी दी है।  |

The 11-day Ganesh festival begins from today in the midst of Covid pandemic. People who install the idol of Lord Ganesha at their homes and pandals are busy in giving finishing touches to the decoration. In short while from now, the idols of Lord Ganesha will be welcomed, however, without the usual fanfare.
Consistent in its fresh set of guidelines for Ganeshotsav, the BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) has prohibited offline darshan. Besides, it has said that procession should not be carried for idols that are installed in households and not more than five persons should be part of the group The height of the household idols should not be more than 2 feet and for those to be installed in public pandals the height of the idol should be 4 feet. While carrying out the immersion of idols installed in public pandals there should not be more than 10 persons and all of them should adhere to the Covid protocol.
